Overview

Metartec have supplied containerized UPS’s for many international sporting events around the UK and Ireland. From motor events to support WiFi and track lighting, to International athletics meetings for editing and picture broadcast around the world.

UPS Specification

Metartec have UPS’s in portable flight cases for indoor use and a selection of containerized solutions for locating outdoors. The flight case solutions starts at 12U with larger systems utilizing 24U. All containers used by Metartec are 10’x8′ and are equipped with power, light and cooling.

1.5 to 90kW in flight cases in topology of 1:1, 3:1 and 3:3.

200 to 500kW in 10’x8′ ISO containers and 3:3 topology.

Challenges

For security reasons, public access is controlled and Metartec has REACT remoting monitoring fitted. This automatically notifies an on call engineer in the event of any alarms.

Implementation

All equipment is tested prior to dispatch and a certificate issued.

Outcome & Benefits
